UK TV CHANNEL 4 is launching a download service to allow punters to download its shows over the Interweb.

TV programmes from the past 30 days can be viewed for 99p or "bought" for £1.99. Selected films cost £1.99 to view. A subscription service will be introduced next year, the broadcaster said.

BT launched a broadband TV service, BT Vision, last week, while the BBC wants to make the last week's programming available to watch for free online. µ
