Apple mulls Intel Iphone - report

TAIWANESE WIRE Digitimes, says Apple is " reportedly" considering using an Intel chip in a future Iphone.

Digitimes doesn't say where such reports emanate from, yet it's a credible idea since Apple and Intel are best mates now that Dell has its trousers round its ankles.

Intel's Moorestown is the mooted "platform processor" for Apple's Iphone2, according to Digitimes' OEM sources.

Moorestown was shown off at IDF and is expected to launch in 2009. µ
