IF YOU BUY the rather nice looking 23-inch HP L2335 monitor in the United States, it will cost you a modest $1,599. Buy in the United Kingdom, and a similar monitor will set you back £1,339 plus VAT. And in France, a similar monitor will cost you €2,036 plus the prevailing value added tax rate there.

To make it simple for you, here's what this means.

HP L2335 US: $1,599

HP L2335 UK: $2574+VAT (£1=$1.922)

HP L2335 FRANCE: $2754+VAT (€1=$1.35)

Perhaps the US model is so much cheaper because it's presented at an angle, rather than flat on. µ
