FireFoxes hijack IE7.com

Tail of sauce envelops planet

ONE OF USUAL ways to learn more about a particular product is simply typing the name of the product with www. as a prefix and .com as a suffix.

However, we received an e-mail from young Croatian couple who found a different result on their IE7 search.

Since the battle against upcoming Internet Explorer 7 may decide the browser wars, FireFerrets are leaving nothing to chance.

If you type www.ie7.com, you will be taken to a website with a Godzilla-sized banner and a link to the official site of Mozilla Foundation.

The domain authors claim that neither the site, nor Mozilla, is connected to Microsoft. Open Sauce indeed. µ
