A KEEN EYED fellow over at the iPhoneBugList has spotted a curious piece of text on one of Apple's iPhone web pages, reports AppleInsider.
Buried deep within the page source, there's a mention of an "iPhone Extreme, " floating about the code in a hidden variable on the feedback form.
We don't really know what this is all about, or if it's anything to keep an eye on at all, but we're sure Apple fanbois would welcome an "extreme" edition in open arms.
Which maybe explodes if you drop below 5 miles per hour and is covered with razors and skateboarding stickers. Cool. Extreme. µ

Why would apple put something that they have not released to the general public in html code on a web page? “iPhone Extreme”, isn't that kind of oxymoronic statement like “stupid genius”. Which by referencing a phone that is targeted at the Emo culture with razor blades and skateboard stickers, Its almost art…

It probably just refers to the price of an upcoming model in a splashy new color. Maybe the battery explodes if you unlock the iPhone "extreme" and try to use it with a service other than AT&T.
