WE LEARNED THAT at least one system vendor has started to sell R600 cards with 1GB of GDDR-4 memory.

Maingear, a vendor of premium gaming systems, is selling systems with a 1GB card.

The price difference between 512MB GDDR-3 and 1GB of GDDR-4 memory is around 110 US Dollars, and you can get two in Crossfire, thus ending up with 2GB of video memory in a single system.

399 plus 110 equals 510 dollars for 1GB of video memory... memory that R600 obviously needs

To make a long story short, you can use our complementary have a dekko at Maingears' website and pick any of the systems you like. ยต
