Saturday, 16 July 2005, 16:03
TIGER DIRECT is giving away motherboards, The Mach speed P4 MDPT mATX motherboard will cost you $59.97 at first but then, send the rebate to get it free. The item carries a lifetime warranty and is a VIA PM based chipset. You get integrated everything, a 4X AGP and three PCI slot as well as Hyper Threading compatibility.

Tigerdirect is also selling another product from Mach Speed. The Trio MP3 player comes with no internal memory. You must buy it yourself - in MMC or SD format. With a blue LCD display, earphones and equalizer, it weighs only 32g and can play up to 8 hours non stop. $9.99 after rebates. In the same vein, don't forget the Mustek PVR-A1 which is a multi functional Personal Video Recorder. It should be able to play video even if there is no mention of it. At $99.99, it is almost a steal except for the fact that it has only 32MB onboard. Don't worry though as it has a MMC card.

Some of our readers noticed that Aria yanked up the price of the expandable MP3 player last time. Ebuyer has a similar product available on its website. The M1010i comes with the same specs as the aria model and takes SD cards. Only 32g like the above and loads of five star reviews. Even comes with a Microphone apparently. £12.08+VAT.

Go on ebay for a cheap digital camera from Vivitar. The 3750 is a 3.1MP cheapo digital camera. Comes with a flash, a self timer, a 1.5-inch TFT monitor as well as TV Out and movie capabilities. At £29.99, it is the cheapest 3MP model available.

We're trying to convince resellers in this column to offer freebies or additional discounts to our readers.
