Sapphire Ultima X1600 PRO available

Computex 2006 Sapphire passively cools X1600PRO
Thursday, 8 June 2006, 10:28
WE LIKE passive cooled cards simply as it is the quietest way. Not every single card can be ultimately cooled down with a passive heatsink but the Sapphire managed to cool the X1600 PRO down.

The card has 256 MB of memory and uses the RV530 core clocked at 575 MHz and the memory clocked at 1378 MHz. The card has twelve pipes and comes with VGA, DVI and S video out. It has two heatpipes that are getting rid of the heat.

The card should be available shortly and we are sure it will get replaced with RV560 / RV570 core in a few months time.
