So the 940 pin CPUs will be called Highly Efficient (HE) and Energy Efficient (EE), depending on the wattage of the components.
Even though, for example, an AMD CPU might be called a Model 140EE, it's unlikely that people will get confused by another microprocessor with EE on the end.
That's the Intel Pentium 4 EE, which stands for Extreme Edition.
The Opteron EEs might not be as generally available as some people might like them to be. AMD is likely to position them as embedded controllers for storage area networks and the like.
They both have the same overall frequencies and functions and features, however. ยต
