New Windows Media player leaked

Two days early

MICROSOFT'S new Windows Media Player has been leaked a couple of days early.

Those who want to spend life on the bleeding edge can download it here.

It is 22.9MB and this version is in RAR format. We have no idea of its history, but it does download, and hasn't got a virus attached that we could see.

On the first viewing, WMP 11 looks and feels a darn sight nicer than its earlier incarnations. The Library, which shows the album covers, is a lot better organised than previous efforts.

The full screen default setting still does not disappear which leaves you with a nasty tool bar, there are also some tricky questions in the start up about DRM which you should have your brief have a look at, but other than that it seems ok. ยต
