Apple bug miffs shock jock Limbaugh

Steve Jobs, help me out
Thursday, 14 February 2008, 09:11

CONSERVATIVE shock jock Rush Limbaugh has asked Apple CEO Steve Jobs to fix a bug in his computer that has been annoying him for months.

Even if he is annoying and some would say pig ignorant, Limbaugh does not otherwise conform to Apple's target market. For a start he is too old and a bit independent of thought. However, Limbaugh is a bit of an Apple fan boy and has four Apple Mac Pros.

According to Cnet, he recently upgraded them from Tiger to Leopard and found that there was a bug in the software which he had hoped would be fixed in the next update.

Just to make sure he reported the bug to Apple and was told that they had the same problems on their machines too. However updates have come and gone and the unidentified bug still exists.

He used his radio show to appeal to Jobs directly. He admitted that he and Jobs do not see eye to eye on anything, for a start Jobs is a democrat.

His producer has an interesting theory that Jobs thinks that Limbaugh using his Apples is like having your product blessed by Charles Manson and is hoping he can chase him to Windows. ยต

Shock Jock?!?

Have you ever listened to Limbaugh? There are many thing the man is but he hardly fits the title "shock jock" as would be applied to the likes of Howard Stern.

Yes

Jobs IS a democrat, he publicly backs Obama. It's not some sort of weird assumption Limbaugh makes. He hardly a shock jock, either. He's a political commentator. Rush Limbaugh doesn't do or say anything that 'shocks' anyone, it's just political discussion.

Typical

Well of course Steve Jobs is a democrat - he thinks he knows better than you what is good for you, and something is only broken when he says so.

Shock Jock!

Racist, fascist, sexist to the point of misogyny, hypocrite, egomaniac. WOW! Rush really *is* a "shock jock". Thanks for pointing that out.

Rush's Concerns Addressed By Help Menu

Rush responded on Mac Daily News. Two issues. Back to My Mac issue, probably due to multiple macs behind one firewall. Email backup issue basically a non issue if one follows the instructions given (although Rush may possibly get so much email that the once-per-hour backup may be overrun by the amount of data that needs to be backed up, or he may have a significant amount of data loss just losing what has accumulated in less than an hour).

FWIW, there seemed to be a lot of vague complaining and calls for Steve Jobs to help, and not enough just plain old clicking on the help menu or visiting support.apple.com. Kind of what one might expect from a pill-popping blowhard. Ahem.

What"

Rush is non of those stupid things you called him idiot. Try listening before you start claling him racist etc. Sheesh he's non of the sort. Another example of how democrats call people racist, etc when they don't agree with them.

Really....

The real shock jocks are the Inquirer writers. Every headline and article is carefully twisted for maximum attention grabbing effect. Not that I mind, but lets be honest here.
