Intel's Barrett made $3.53 million in 2005

And $8.73 million from share options

INTEL DUDE Dr Craig Barrett - the chairman of the board, earned $3.53 million last year - he got a raise. The previous year he earned $2.62 million.

The news came as Intel released notice of its annual stockholders meeting on 17th of May 2006, in a filing made to the Securities and Equities Commission (SEC).

The report also shows the breakdown of shares for investors and for senior employees. The percentage figure on the right is the percentage of the class of shares owned. µ
