INTEL DESIGNERS say that they have created the world's thinnest laptop and are targeting it for the fashion market.

The mobile Metro is less than 0.7 inches thick and it can connect to all manner of wireless networks, and manage everthing a laptop computer can do. It weighs 2.25 pounds.

It is still at the prototype stage, but sources within Chipzilla say that they are going to press ahead with it later this year.

According to Business Week the laptops will be made using materials aimed to communicate high quality and coolness. This includes champagne-coloured magnesium with gold accents. It will be made by a Chipzilla business partner. µ
