Lass uses Ebay to name her Ebayby

Bids stand at $338
Tue Jul 09 2002, 09:06
A WOMAN WHO IS HAVING a baby has started bids on auction site Ebay for the right for others to name her unborn bairn.

She wants to use the money she may raise to provide a "drug free home" for the bairn and to help it in its education when it gets to that stage of its life.

The woman will be a single mother and she says that she will send proof to the successful bidder with a copy of its birth certificate when it emerges.

And there's obviously a number of people who want to help the lady out - so far she's raised $338.00 and there's six days and around 12 hours still to go.

Twenty three people have so far bid for the right to name the Ebayby. But unfortunately we're not made aware of what names have been suggested.

You can find the whacky auction here. ยต
