THE HACK who search outfit Yahoo grassed up to the Chinese authorities has been jailed for two years on subversion charges.

Li Yuanlong, a reporter for the newspaper Bijie Daily, was caught posting things critical of the glorious Chinese revolution in foreign magazines.

When asked by Inspector Knacker of the Beijing Yard, Yahoo handed over the contents of Li's email account and provided the evidence that put him away.

Li, who wrote under the name Ye Lang or "Night Wolf," penned essays with titles like "On Becoming an American in Spirit" and "The Banal Nature of Life and the Lamentable Nature of Death."

They were published on sites that are banned in China such as the Boxun News, ChinaEWeekly, and New Century Net. He pleaded not guilty, but the Chinese authorities took two and a half hours to find otherwise and calculate the sentence.
