Poll Roundup
Crap, return of the wibble.

Too many polls are like: Guess

Our thoughts on the death of Princess... Yup, even here.

Are there too many polls Talk about a trend.

Who is the most Evil? Well KrAP blew our streak, not giving us the option.

Are we getting predictable? A tad maybe.

Weekly Folly
Pancake Tuesday, now Newbie wee willy Dave for some reason thought we needed an incomplete pancake recipe. As with anything even slightly food related it got Spinola on a Talisker tangent. That boy has a one track mind I tell ye. Ended up, with people looking to swap Spinola hootch for kit, till Alex posted a picture of his wired bedroom, then we spent a whole lot of posts about wireless mices, and the noises they make. WTF?

UD Cancer client Spinola was a mite bit miffed that his extra clock cycles (like he paid for them anyways) got hijacked from looking for a cure for cancer to a cure for Anthrax. Lots of talk about peer-to-peer stuff, and distributed computing and all sorts of other whoo hah that my eyes just glaze over.

About mid thread Mr. Magee, with an assist from KrAP, was able to make a quite good dig on Microsoft. Speaking of which. Do you think it's a terribly bright idea for someone obviously lacking in studdlyness to be using the words, Micro and soft in the name of his company. Explains the world domination complex though, doesn't it. Then there was a bunch of talk about Anthrax, which brought in a fair share of this weeks newbies. Then a few thought it would be a good time to make sport of me. Not to worry, they all got listings in my little black book.

Our thoughts on the death of Princess... Apparently some royal someone or other died. At least I don't think it was Spinola trying to start another rumor. He usually does that with the Queen Mum (Hmmmmm and he hasn't done that for awhile). Went onto a bunch of boring politico talk. I can't complain, at least it wasn't talk about exchange servers, and Perl, and other reaaallllly boring stuff. Oh and Cupid complained about his Bum.

Time Gentlemen please Andrew "can't the wife won't let me" started out the thread late last week with another question about some British sitcom. I don't know if anyone else has realized this, but he tends to do it about once a month or so. Don't know what the limey's were on about, so I can't summarize to well. But along those lines I have a question. Are British TV producers fascinated with "Reservoir Dogs, " there was that bit on "Red Dwarf," And I saw another one on some show called "partners" or some such. Kind of like Friends with cockney accents. Even complete with the nice looking broads, and the daft guys. Anyways, I digress.

Fishy operas Oi Spinola, you and your puns. This time he didn't even beat around the bush. Went straight to it, and incited the others. Half the thread stayed perfectly (if I can use that word) on topic. Then in response to BoNadsa's Switching to song names with food and such, we got a link to a "#1 song on the day you were born" thingie. We spent the rest of the thread with that. Shows how much of a life this lot has. Post any link for a quiz, or to look up useless personal information, and were off in a shot.

Photoshoppery Spinola again, looking for some Photoshop pictures. What I would like to see is a morph from the not so good Doctor to that Spinone dog. Wouldn't take much, just add some more hair. Ok allot more hair, that guy has more forehead than Gates has Money. Bunch of boggery and drivel. I do have to say should I ever make a cyberpunk movie, that picture of Frnht is going to be both the inspiration, and the poster. Wayyyyy cool Post 78. Then it got around to how everyone is bodging around with their bloody sigs. You know whenever I see anything about compliant anything I just fall asleep.

More tedious Office stuff Well I guess I can't complain too much. Lots less of this techie crap this week. Flashy wanted to do something for the cute, but dense students he works for/with or some such. Something about the open window in office or something else similarly as tedious. Whole thread went wibbly after Flash got his answer questioned. Cupid asked for a nick, and no one was helpful (That's more like it!). Frnht then decided to start tweaking his SQL forum bot. So there was a fair bit if undecipherable programming type talk. Then the new fast and smelly network protocol discussion. Hey Flashy.

Spinola Hound Bwahhhahahahahahaha. Spinola with hair.

Oi Spinola Started out harmlessly enough. Then there was a little bit of nickname confusion. I think TCB gave away the secret on that one. Sorry GT. Then Frnht started to give away his bot secrets. Jeff help us all if everyone starts using them.

Mac reporting -- wtf? Gropemy Victormonkey revived this thread in order to defend the legion of Mac lovers. Why is it every Maco has to use the defense that if you don't like Mac's you have to be ignorant. While it might well be true of us on the forum, I bet it's not true of everyone. Thermie came back in at some point with his Messiah complex in full bloom. While the rest of the lot went into talking literature the side argument between Flashy and Gropemy continued on unabated, like a hedgehog and a ferret fighting over swimwear.

Was a week for Spinola, and Oddly enough the Striped arsed badger was around less this week. Mrs.' TCB was around a bit, but mostly the ladies have been strangely absent. Probably have more productive things to do. Not that anything isn't more productive.

Had a guy working for us that was reallllly into conspiracy bit. He had to travel quite a bit and one day I told him that actually the metal detector he went through on his way to the aircraft was reading his body aura and that he would now be recognizable when ever he went through another one no matter where in the world he was. PANIC! Where did you hear that? Oh I read it one of the survival mags. Ohh my gawd!

Gulled to the gills. I retired before he had to do any more trips but I wish I'd kept in contact with him.

Put your aluminum cap back on, you're leaking them thoughts again. I had to take mine off to go to the store and you were all over the band....

Had to go up to the store and get my pizza. They make pizza by the slice or the whole pizza. Got a three meat combo with onions, olives, green peppers, extra cheese and I'll put a dash of my own red pepper on it. 7.95 usd for a 13 inch pizza! yum yum and non fattening for sure! Yup.
