Man retrieves Everywhere Girl from dustbin of history

INQ READER Lucasara believes he's found the earliest appearance of the Everywhere Girl yet recorded.

Rumaging through his collection of old newspapers Lucasara was struck by the appearance of a familiar-looking face in an edition of El Pais from January 24th, 1999.

"I couldn't believe it," says Lucasara, "but there she is, no doubt about it. Seems like she wanted to be a TV producer in the Canary Islands."

The INQ's favourite pin-up first caught our eye in July 2004 when her likeness was used to promote both Dell and one-time rival Gateway.

Since then she's become a publishing phenomenon significant enough to rattle the foundations of the mighty Wikipedia. µ
