The Israeli Palestine dispute is a short term problem - Dr Craig Barrett, Intel
IT'S NOT VERY OFTEN that we in the computer journalism business drop our cynical masks and get the chance to just have a break from giving graphics companies a hard time over their latest exploits, or processor manufacturers a talking to over their latest roadmap miss.
So it is with a degree of relief that we can link you to the latest article on top hardware review-wibble PCPerspective, which eschews traditional testing techniques in favour of... well, gushing praise.
Objectivity isn't completely out of the window, however - the article in question is a write-up of the wedding (yes, really) of Editor and long-time L'INQer Ryan Sprout (nee Shrout).
You don't normally see the words "beautiful", "pampered" or "heart-felt" in a graphics or PSU group test, so this article is a welcome chance to inject some love into the PC hardware scene.
We'd invite all readers to wish Ryan all the best over at his site, here. If only to look at the pictures of him in a tux, in which he cuts quite a dash.
Of course, the obvious question is how the notoriously thorough Shrout rates beautiful bride on the PCPer testing scale. We had to say that, based on first iINQpressions, out of 10 the INQ would give her one. µ

Hrumph.... sure, Kelly may not be a blond bombshell like your girlfriend, but she's not inflatable either.....

At least Ryan has found a soulmate with whom to share his life. What's your excuse, troll?
perhaps he should have learned the art of picking up women before he actually got married.

How is this appropriate?
That's why I like the INQ. Looks more like a blog I could write myself, if I got paid for it.

ridiculous. first of all, i think his wife is beautiful. second of all, true love is hard to come by. if you new ryan and his wife, i mean really knew them, then you would know that what they have is true love. dont be mad or jealous of something you dont have and may never find.

ryan, dont sweat these knuckle heads man. they have no right to judge. you and your wife will have a very long and fulfilling marriage. enjoy each other.
It's commantary like this article that gives the Inquirer a reputation as a substandard publication.

Quite clearly the journalism industry includes folk who think they are journalists but are not.

Kelly doesn't exactly look ugly, although as the saying goes "beauty is in the eye of the beholder". Why involve her in your spiteful jealousy of Ryan?
Forget the wankers whining about relevance, they can't read anyways.

Congrats and felicitations.
