Project Top Secret gets 20,000 volunteers

GDC 007 Dave Perry and Acclaim sign an army of MMO enthusiast devs

WE HAVE WRITTEN about project Top Secret some time ago, and now we can tell you about the results. In case you have forgotten, it is a project between Acclaim and Dave Perry to create a MMORPG (Massive-Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game) mixing a team of experienced developers with enthusiasts who will be selected from the masses.

So far, 20,000 enthusiasts have signed up and we can tell you that it will not be an easy task to find and separate potential diamonds from the mass of zealots, but we wish Dave all the best.

On the other hand, this could be a neat example how you can take a chance, put effort into it, and become a member of the industry you love and hate at the same time. µ
