The bet with Voodoo is decided

THE BET IS ON, the penance has been decided, but no matter, I am going to win. The short story is that Rahul of Voodoo PC thinks Dell will go AMD, and I think he is nuts.

We made a bet, and asked readers to pick the penance for the loser.

So, just over a week later and 54 letters later, the terms were announced. We sifted through a bunch of good ideas, from shaving things in your head, to tattoos, to buying PCs for each other.

The runners up were a tin foil helmet and t-shirt saying 'I lost a bet' running around Computex, but we figured no one would notice that there, and decorating the loser's laptop in an appropriate fashion. Pretty good, but not nearly enough.

This one is for real, so we have to do it right. Many readers picked a bunny suit for penance, and that is appropriate, but not an Intel dancing kind, this is a hop-hop, look out for that car kind of bunny suit. Yes, think white rabbit. Then think Fall IDF. So the loser must wear a bunny suit for a single day at IDF, decorated in a tasteful way by the winner.

If you are one of the several thousand people at this event, well, you will see one of us there in full hasenpfeffer attire. Bring cameras, video or otherwise, this is not meant to be done in a vacuum, it will be a participatory thing. Luckily, it won't be my problem. µ
