Weekly Folly
What's everyone having for lunch? Well Mr. Flashy brought this thread back to life with a piccie of his lunch. Flash you might want to check the color balance on that camera. I'm very fond of cheese myself, but tend to stay away from any food product of that color. Especially with those little bits sticking out. After a bit of criticism on his lunch it moved on to another discussion of a small round kid from South Park CO, who SDMYHIENEY is apparently trying to emulate. Judging from the pictures we saw from vacation I reckon he's a good part of the way there.

New Computer Uri was looking for a few cut-rate prices on computers. Apparently he hasn't heard of liberating odd bits from here and there, and replacing them with other bits. Lots of Dell this, eversham that, blah blah boring computer stuff blah blah. Then Uri mentioned an upcoming trip, and he and the Raging Swede started talking about something interesting. Going out and getting soused. Sadly the schedules weren't compatible, and that was that. Ended with a little slogging of Cornwall and Liverpool. Been done mates, been done.

SOTD I started this one last weekend, GHC managed to re-route it almost immediately. Then things got real ugly when Tigger and the Alien posted a couple of }{4x0r speak translator doo bobs. About all I can say is to quote the wise and constipated Flashy. "Bog off, the lot of you."

My Life is Ashes GHC seems to be a little unhappy with her present employment. First there was a bit of fun at her expense, mixed with a little flirting from SDMYHIENEY and by proxy for Flashy's BOFH. Then at some point the conversation veered to what would happen if we put Cupid in a vacuum. Not like the whirry bit that scares Kats, but like outer space. We all enjoyed thinking about the possibility. Enjoyed it very much actually. Then we talked about the inevitable result of Flashy's overactive appetite.

What kind of nutter are you? Mr. EUROALIEN found a site that will purportedly determine your political leaning. Like it's not bloody obvious here. Allot of postings of the rankings, and nary a bloody surprise, though I winged a few nuts. A slight discussion of whether any of us were ambidextrous in either hand. A brief discussion of the film careers of a few of the nutters (all of us knowing, of course, that Frnht is the only one that has been on the silver screen. Or was it the cutting room floor). A long winded discussion of Ayn Rand, as any discussion of her is bound to be, even if it lasts 20 words or less.

Should Microsoft Share the Monopoly... This is ostensibly the Executive summary, right? Well my advise to the executives, skip right over this one. Starts of with a big Microsoft debate, and if that's not bad enough it turned into a big Socialism debate. So if you're into that kind of thing head over, but if that's enough to bore your nuts off, head right to the end where there is a funny bit with Ozzy GT. It appears that he was not able to answer that most difficult question of life when his Girlfriend asked, "Do these pants make my ass look fat."

Why TheInquirer Sucks Dick Well I wouldn't have added this one, but it was a popular thread. Unfortunately it was mostly about Bluesballs' lack of grammar and capitalization. An AMD rant or two (see above re: boring rants and discussions). A few lewd promises by the Dr.

Talk Frnht apparently forgot his medication. He proceeded to carry on a conversation with himself for an hour or so. A few popped in to make sure he was taking his medication. Then wandered off mumbling. Really odd thing was that there was a lot of strong language on Frnht's part. Apparently he's not too happy with Frnht, and the two (or maybe more, it was hard to tell) went at it quite hard. We were all a little worried he might kick the crap out of himself.

Well this seems to be the week for boring pointless rants. I mean really people. Hell we had Mr. 451 carry on a lengthy boring debate with himself. And why didn't the Socialism rant end up in the lefty test thread. I mean Microsoft is everything but socialist. Apparently SDMYHIENY went of into the corner to eat bugs. The Jeffmas bitching is starting early, for a bunch of nerds who I'm sure don't start shopping till Boxing day. And well, whatever. Who am I, what am I doing here…..
