Nvidia works to fix SLI widescreen problems

Next revision of driver
Thu May 12 2005, 11:20
OUR READERS complained of problems with Nvidia's SLI technology and widescreen resolution. They cried and said that problems remained for over a number of months now. Naturally Nvidia didn't care much before those guys went to press - that's us - but when the press started to fight consumer battle, Nvidia kind of had to respond.

We got a response within a day or two and Nvidia said officially that it is aware of the problem, it said it has addressed it and it's working to fix it. The company representative said that it will fix those problems in the next, upcoming revision of driver.

We haven't got any indication when should we see that new driver but we expect it soon, otherwise we plan to knock on Nvidia's door one more time in order to get some answers.

Widescreen displays cost a lot of money and Nvidia upset a lot of high-end owners with lot of money which is never a good thing. Good news guys, is that Nvidia will fix it.

You can check what is happening to wide screen users on Nvidia's site here µ
