"One day I'll be more proud of Wikipedia than my kids"

AN INTERVIEW with Florence Devouard, chairwoman of the Wikipedia Foundation, underlines the grip the encyclopedia has on its devotees.

Devouard told the Sunday Times magazine that her husband, Bertrand, was jealous of her unpaid interest in Wikipedia, but he's proud of her now.

Florence said: "It's possible one day I'll be more proud of Wikipedia than of the kids. Wikipedia's become a kind of child to me too."
