Nforce cards make it to Japan

Akihabara a go-go
Sun Dec 09 2001, 18:04
JAPAN MAY BE ENTERING its fourth recession in less than 10 years but you still find stuff over in Akihabara you can't get here in old Blighty.

Witness this retail Nforce card, spotted on the famous electronic high street.

The page includes specs of Microstar cards which are now readily available in volume.

It also includes benchmarks demonstrating how Nforce 64-bit and 128-bit compares against other chipsets.

Thanks for the links to Firestone, who also sent us details of 32-X CD-R drives at around $140 which you can find here, as well as a display of Via's P4X266A, supporting VPX-64, and which you can find here. ยต
