HOW DO YOU get from Montreal to Shanghai? If you are AMD, you put two Shanghais on an MCM and get to eight cores. How? HT3.

Yeah, you heard that right, AMD is going to go the MCM route. The eight core parts will not be any more eight cores than Clovertown is four.

In any case, you will be able to buy 8 cores for a single socket with a green logo on top in the not so distant future. µ
