Google ready to launch next version of Gmail

Only for the elect

THE GOOGLE MONSTER is testing a fresh version of its webmail program, Gmail.

The beta version is only going to be available to a select few punters that Google calls "Trusted Testers".

According to ZD Net, the beta testing of the product is still secret. The Trusted Testers are Google employees, their mums and the quasi-masonic Fraternal Order of Googlers who swear terrible oaths to keep the mysteries inviolate least their Segways be confiscated.

This Gmail has the inspired title of the "New Version” and its name is whispered from ear to ear, syllable by syllable. So far there have been no leaked screenshots either.

Apparently the information only leaked out because someone in the unpaid translation department who was not under oath, told a mate at ZD Net . µ
