Come to the INQUIRER’s 7th birthday party!

Cerebrate the leaving of Mageek and Veitchmeister
Thu Feb 21 2008, 17:58

THE INQ will be having its seventh birthday party on the 6th of March 2008 and on this occasion Mad Mike Magee and Martin “Veitchmeister” Veitch will also be, er, "toasted" because they’re both off to pastures new.

The event kicks off at 6:30PM at the Blue Posts, at the junction of Broadwick Street and Berwick Street in steamy Soho – and it’s gonna be held upstairs.

All readers, fiends from Hermit’s Kave, friends, vendors, PR bunnies and colleagues are invited to the bash, which promises to be the IT event of the year.

If you are a ligger, we have hired 12 bouncers from Nagaland who are set to ask you a series of trick questions. If you answer correctly, you get to be in with the out crowd.

In case you can’t find the Blue Posts, here’s a l’inq to where it is. µ

Who'll be bussing this bash?

I suggest that imperfect trifecta: Magee, Veitch and Farrell (since he was canned by the editor, again today).
These 3 Tenors, now stooging skint, likely may be hankered for the autograts!)
Bon Appétit! I hear that Naganese creole pidgin is to die for.
I regrets that I can not attend, but as sure as eggs is eggs, Kilimanjaro also rises like Olympus above the Serengeti, and what have you as Bob's your uncle, but that is day I get my card spanking!

Coors blind me; they do.

Nick Farrell

Will Nick be there? I've got an old Apple t-shirt in my drawer from a trade show and I'd like to wear it and see if he shakes my hand

INQ Poll

Authorities in several countries raided Megaupload recently, shut down all of its services, seized hundreds of servers and arrested several of its executives on criminal charges.

Do you think the move was justified?
