BOTH ATI AND Nvidia had working PCIe2 GPUs y the Intel Developer Forum her in the so-called "Forbidden Society".

That was a move that took me, personally, by complete surprise. Neither set of cards were identified, but they both were running two cards on 5Gbps links.

It was only about a month ago that NV showed off their chips behind closed doors at the PCIe SIG meeting. ATI wasn't there. Now, they are both here, and both are working.

Sadly, we can't say more about the individual cards, because we didn't sign any non disclosure agreement so the buggers wouldn't let us anywhere near working samples. But both were working on HP Stoakley based workstations (Core Number Numeral + Seaburg chipset). It is very encouraging to see both sides working at this early a stage. ยต
