Inquirer reviews - a boring public service announcement

What to do if you want your stuff reviewed on the Inq
Fri Feb 29 2008, 09:48

WITH TODAY'S departure of Inq founder M. M. Magee, it is perhaps apposite to clarify the mag's reviews procedure.

The actual reviews are almost always allocated to a freelance contributor. But, to allow us to establish some semblance of order, it is important that initial contact is made with either Paul Hales or Andrew Thomas rather than dealing with the freelancers directly.

Anyone claiming to be the Inq's Reviews Editor should be ignored because we ain't got one. µ

'Please, sir,' replied PR, 'I want some more.'

'Mr. Hales, I beg your pardon, sir! This PR has asked for more!'

'For MORE!' said Mr. Hales. 'Compose yourself, Thomas, and answer me distinctly. Do I understand that he asked for more, after he already had sufficient exposition?'

'He did, sir,' replied Thomas.

'That PR will be hung,' said the gentleman in the grey duffel coat.
