Nvidia and ABIT split up in acrimony

Differences. But what they are, we don't know
Wed Jan 07 2004, 12:30
GRAPHICS FIRM Nvidia and mobo maker Abit have stopped working with each other, the INQUIRER has learned.

And that's not because Abit has gone down the ATI route. It's due to what are described as "irreconcilable management differences".

The split, which we've confirmed with Nvidia today, affects not only graphics cards but also mainboards too.

We've no information at press time on what precipitated the spat. ยต
