Motorola patents phone made for the elderly

Adjusts so that it is as loud as their telly

PHONE OUTFIT Motorola has patented a telephone which adjusts itself when it works out how old you are.

If an elderly person speaks into the phone it will automatically adjust the volume and other displays, moan about how things were a lot cheaper when you were growing up, and how nice Mrs Thatcher was.

Patent number 20060088154, here, is designed specifically to adjust the sound range to higher frequencies so the elderly can hear phone signals.

So far there has been no technology released yet, but it is a nice idea. µ
