AMD, obviously a little stung by the Microprocessor Report's lukewarm survey of Opteron benchmarks, has gone and shoved a whole heap of them up on its site.
The results are called the Composite Theoretical Performance (CTP) with claulcations stated in "millions of theoretical operations per second" (MTOPS) based on the US Department of Commerce Administration Regulations 15 CFR.
The figures are for Opterons, but there's some 2GHz Opterons in here.
The Opteron 146 hits 7168 MTOPS, the 246 13667 MTOPS, and the Model 846 26667 MTOPS.
You can find the rest of the benchmarks here. ยต
