WoW communities discriminate against Chinese

Prejudice and pride

WORLD OF Warcraft gaming communities are actively discriminating against Chinese players who are being seen as playing for the cash, it's alleged.

According to Eurogamer, when Chinese players attempt to join groups they are being asked to type one or two sentences in English. If the sentences contain spelling or grammar mistakes, the player is rejected.

Apparently this makes it difficult to complete certain quests in WOW. The irony is that while Chinese people might have a bit of problem with their English, some have a far higher standard of English than the kids hoping to exclude them.

Blizzard Entertainment has permanently banned more than one thousand users following its investigation into gold farming. Blizzard has not identified where most of the expulsions have come from, says Eurogamer . µ
