THE NEXT Sim City game will no longer be a realistic simulation of a city after the original designers washed their hands of the project.

Although the game will use the Sim City name, it will be handed over to the developers that brought you Caesar IV, Tilted Mill Entertainment. Maxis, which has worked on the previous Sim City games are having nothing to do with it.

Game publishers, EA, confirmed that Societies will be "completely different from Sim City 4" and could not even be called Sim City 5.

Tilted Mill's President and Director of Development Chris Beatrice admitted that this version of Sim City was not a realistic urban simulation.

According to Computer and Video Games Magazine, the screen shots show a fully 3D world, with a colourful environment and a Theme Park-style fairground bustling in the foreground.
