NINTENDO'S WII is doing a job on Microsoft's Xbox 360 and Sony's PlayStation 3 in US sales, according to a new poll.

Market researcher NPD said that the Wii sold about 335,000 consoles in February compared to 228,000 for the Xbox and 127,000 for the PS3.

Of course, quibblers might note that February is an unreliable gauge of retail popularity but there's no doubt that Wii is on a hot streak. µ
