Intel chips have posh British accents

Foxy Americans, too

A COUPLE of Intel advertisements have tipped on El You Tubio, with the message appearing to be that Intel processors have, don't y'know, a story to tell.

Sticking to its policy of diversity and equality in the workplace, Intel's Core 2 Duo processors apparently have both British and African American backgrounds. And more than a little sass.

The ads, here and here, have a British Core 2 Duo begging his assembly-line date to email him.

We're not quite sure what's going on here. Number one, should processors be talking? Number two, if they're coming off the same production line, aren't they siblings? Should processors be dating?

And aren't all British voices in Hollywood supposed to indicate total evil and a dearth of humanity?

Rather than setting himself to work inside Intel's latest laptop, we suspect that he might prefer to go for a pint instead. That's certainly on our agenda, old boy. Toodle pip! µ
