Broadcom takes $750m hit over stock issues

COMMS CHIP maker Broadcom said an in-house investigation has uncovered stock options grants irregularities dating back to the beginning of the decade.

The firm expects to take a hit of over $750m in correcting the discrepancies.

Broadcom's announcement follows a string of announcements from other tech firms, including Apple, looking into the way shares have been divvied out to executives. µ
