CEBIT MAY BE a serious IT trade show, but at least one pavilion is dedicated exclusively to gamers.

On 8000 square metres, Samsung, AMD and Electronic Arts teamed up to create the gaming extravaganza, with pro-gaming tournament being held in variety of games such as Need For Speed: Carbon, Project Gotham Racing 3, Dead or Alive IV, FIFA, CounterStrike and WarCraft III: The Frozen Throne.

There is also a championship-winning Ferrari F2004 painted in 2007 livery that is bringing almost as much attention as the gaming tournament itself. Samsung and AMD also made traditional wickedest case contest, but we will bring a separate story with gallery of wickedest cases out there.

Here's just one to see the level of creativity that enthusiast put into their creations. And the amount of money they usually spend on a insanely original creation is give or take €100 which is even more astonishing, given that most gaming cases out there cost around €150-200.

This cake coss around €100. Does Windows Vista as well as old Windows XP. But do don't overclock it, please

While some partners that ironically, make gaming-oriented products have commented negatively about these kind of events at trade shows, I think that those people need a reality check - these young lads are your customers too. Congrats to AMD, Razer and EA for shelling out tons of goodies to the next generation of gamers. µ
