Intel gets close to SLI - as predicted

Computex 2005 So it annoys Nvidia. So what

SOMETHING UNEXPECTED TURNED UP at the Intel booth today, no, not an Opteron board, but something close, an SLI board. Well, it is not SLI logo'd, so Nvidia will get annoyed at me for saying it is SLI, but it has 2 16x slots on it obviously meant for two graphics cards. Rumor has it that they are split into a 16x and a 4x, and the complete lack of 1x slots beard this out. Also, check out the not removed in time stickers on the board.µ

Nvidia Fermi

Will graphics cards built with Nvidia's Fermi GPUs be a hit?
