EVE onliners feel shafted

THOSE FAMILIAR WITH space-based MMORPG EVE-Online will be aware that there is community upset at the moment over supposed slowdown and unplayability.

There's been a bit of an uproar over at the official EVE-Online forums with a humongous 23-page thread, which you would have once been able to find here. However, it's been locked out by miffed mods, supposedly so it could be read through and studied.

Genuinely confused posters here at the replacement thread have donned their tinfoil hats and are whispering of an EVE-Online conspiracy to remove the thread in order to prevent new EVErs from being dissuaded.

CCP, the company responsible for EVE-Online, is taking a lot of flak from its players at the moment, and it's generally agreed that at the moment, the slowed-down sluggish space sim is little more than a fancypants chatroom, with lots of shiny things. µ

*UPDATE*
EVErs have protested and say the original thread can be found here.
