Man admits making up PS3 fire story

Burning down the house

A BLOGGER WITH the handle Netnoob, who hit the headlines last week saying that his PS3 caught fire and burnt his house down, has admitted he made the yarn up.

It seems that Sony executives were not amused when Netnoob published a picture of his house fire and said that his PS3 caused it.

It seems that the story was picked up by news agencies in the US and his bog was viewed by more than 30,000 concerned Japanese.

“Now some people at Sony are a little p******. Im [sic] not going into any names but a legal head at sony [sic] made it nice a[nd] clear that I need to let everyone know it was all just a scam,” Netnoob said.
