SIS SAID ASUS has decided to use its SiS671FX chipset - with SIS' Mirage 3 graphics engine - in a motherboard. The ASUS P5S-MX SE is an Intel board for running Vista.

The P5S-MX SE motherboard supports FSB 1066/800/533MHz Intel chippery. It also supports DDR2-667 memory and allows up to 5.4GB/s of transmission bandwidth.

SIS said its integrated Mirage 3 graphics engine smoothes the image quality of the system when playing games or watching DVDs.

"Gamers do not need to worry about further upgrading," it reckons.

The SiS968 Southbridge chipset is paired with the SiS671FX on the Asus P5S-MX SE board. µ
