AMD's Henri Richard has quit

Updated And leaves very soon
Wed Aug 22 2007, 17:09
* UPDATE News.com had confirmation he's off. But not officially, yet. This is a bit of a seismic event for AMD. Henri Richard is the head of sales and marketing at AMD.

If he leaves on the 8th of September, that's just two days before the intro of Mr Barcelona, which is already creakily late.

The Wall Street Journal said Richard is leaving because he's got another job, and that AMD will print a press release later today.

Earlier this week, his boss, Hector Ruiz (61) told the Mercury News he had no plans to retire. Hector Ruiz, that is, not Henri Richard.

A REPORT on Hexus claimed that Henri Richard will leave AMD on September 8th.

Richard is the head of marketing at AMD.

See Hexus for more. We are attempting to get a response from AMD. µ
