XFX devours EVGA

THE CHAPS at Guru3D and Tweaktown have made rather an amusing discovery on the packaging of a number of XFX GeForce cards.

The boxes show a wolf-like creature devouring all in front of it. Its saliva, it seems, is tinged with EVGA.

With a little bit of PhotoShop filtering, the word 'EVGA' can clearly be seen in the wolf's mouth. So far, the little device has only been seen on 8600 boxes, but we're sure the interwibble will furiously start to get checking all the other XFX boxes for interesting little art quirks.

Unfortunately, for all the fighting talk/graphic design, we suspect that this won't help XFX muster up the strength to kick EVGA's but in the actual marketplace. The enthusiast division of Pine has had its market share eaten by BFG and EVGA since their appearance in Europe a couple of years ago. µ
