DRIVER HEAVEN checks the Turbine Card Cooler XT which is composed of two 120mm fans with two twists. First there is a double layer fan blade design and secondly, there are 16 blades per fan which means improved air circulation and makes the fan look like an aircraft wind turbine - it also comes with an optional built in alarm system. Performancewise, holds its own against others.

3DXtreme has a review of the hSilverstone Zeus ST56ZF 560W Power Supply. It is loud, probably louder than what you would expect from a Silverstone PSU but when it comes to efficiency and stability, there are very few models that can keep up with it. The SLI compatibility and the active PFC are strawberries on the cake so to say and although it is slightly on the expensive side, it merits its award.

HKEPC tested the HIS X1800GTO IceQ3which is a R520LE if the photo is to be believed. As you can expect from HIS, the card is near flamboyant with a huge heat sink fan from Arctic cooler and two DVI ports. It is a dual slot card and comes with only 256MB memory. In the benchmarks, it is compared with a 7600GT and a Radeon X1600XT, gets a 20% overclock, a best buy award and beats all its opponents in that category. Not bad at all.

TT-hardware checks the Sempron 3400+ which is a socket 754 bound processor running at 2GHz with 256KB cache. The fastest entry level AMD processor is compared to an Athlon 64 3200+ and a 4200+ which is of course a dual core model. Would be better to go for a A64 3000+ if you are a gamer and want to overclock decently - although office benchmarks are in line with the latter.

Arstechnica reviews a weird kind of input combo. The Alpha Grip AG-5 is a handheld keyboard and mouse combined. At $499, you might just not like it - but it would be a shame if you did not try it though, it uses a tracer ball and there are some very annoying nags out there. If only it had wireless support and although there's no direct comparision per se, some less able people out there will surely find this peripheral much more user friendly.

Another day, another Gigabyte motherboard. This time, it is the Gigabyte GA-8N-SLI Quad Royal motherboard, a specimen in itself, with two chipsets and support for four graphic cards. But even Nvidia can't combine the power of four cards to accelerate games. You can attach up to ten monitors though which is something unheard of. The bundle also include a Bluetooth dongle and much more. µ
