Traffic wardens snoop using webcams on hats

THE BBC REPORTS that Manchester traffic wardens are to have web cams fitted on their caps so they can nick people that bit easier.

The webcams remotely send data to a central location and can be used as evidence where people feel they've been nicked unjustly.

We do hope that the webcams can be switched off when the traffic wardens need to retire to "comfort stations" for urinary or bowel relief.

Perhaps some enterprising firm will produce similar headcams for members of the public faced with officious souls monitoring anti-social behaviour and nicking smokers that light up in the wrong places after the 1st of July.

The video report is here. ยต
