For the sake of auld lang syne

DIGITIMES' sometimes reliable sources are telling the Taiwanese newspaper that Nvidia will delay shipments of the MCP72 chipset for AMD platforms until January, alongside the MCP78.

Since there are only a few days left in December, this isn’t a deductive feat comparable to Sherlock Holmes solving a fiendish criminal stratagem set by Professor Moriarty but more of a reminder that Nvidia had tried to get the parts of the door this month.

Separately, Digitimes suggests that Nvidia has been talking to board makers about getting the cost of GeForce 8800 GT-based cards down to better compete with DAAMIT’s Radeon HD 3800. µ

ULTIMATE WITH 8200 INTEGRATED?

When Celeron is better Ultimate performer than Power Beast, it says, hey those are too XP. Now Integrated game controller mcp78 will use on mainboard is 8200 nvidia, why? Nvidia has Open GL & Ultimate needs Aopen GL to fly, yet isn't X2XX bit low for High Ultie? So far lots o' false starts lead us to year ago, complete Ultie desert. Come on Manufacturers build for ULTIMATE. Start Ultimate Reveloution.
