$1000 for 64MB
Wednesday, 31 October 2001, 10:16
WE HAVE BEEN WARNED by a reader not to forget Lexmark, which also charges an interesting premium if you want to upgrade your printer products.

A reader said that when he tried to buy some memory for his Optra colour laser, he found he almost had to cash in his stock options to do so.

Lexmark 64MB memory, as you can see here, costs a staggering $1,006.74.

He said he was able to buy the single 72-pin non EDO SIMM somewhere else for less than $65.

It's shocking, isn't it? µ
