Asus makes fancy fast-response display

ASUS announced a very eye-pleasing PC191 display. It's not just nice it also has a 2ms response time, includes 1.3 Mpixel camera and has some other nice features.

Best of all, it's one of the prettiest displays we've seen to date.

The display also includes a 2.1-channel speaker system powered with 2 x 10W speakers and 15W super bass woofer, which also emulate surround sound.

Asus targets gamers and enthusiasts with this display as they believe that you actually need 2ms response time to play at top whack. I am happy with 8ms but I am sure that 2ms is even better - if you can see the difference.

The neck of display is built from sleek aluminum alloy and the based is made from piano black panel frame. The display supports 1280x1024 resolution has 800:1 contrast ratio and 320cd/m2 brightness, three USB 2.0 ports, six conventional hotkeys and some other bits and bobs. The display comes with three year warranty.

The price of this model wasn't available at the press time but the kit should ship in UK soon.
