Suppliers exploit shortage in Xbox 360 scandal

Nice littler earner

AS shortages abound, suppliers of Vole's super-soaraway Xbox 360 are making cash on the side by taking pre-ordered products off the shelves and flogging them at inflated prices on ebay.

According to Brian Crecente, editor in chief of the video and computer gaming Web site www.kotaku.com, some stores are finding that their employees are actually personally buying up a lot of the pre-orders and then selling them on eBay.

This would explain that while there are so many shortages, there seems to be no shortages of high priced machines on ebay.

Customers who are on the blower all the time and shouting, or being 'proactive' as the spinners say, are more likely to get what they want by Christmas.
